Text Box: Community Dialogues at Kibish and Lopur, Turkana, North District CEWARN partnering with Riam Riam Turkana, will be organizing series of community level peace dialogues from June 3-12, 2008, in the above areas. During these meetings the agreement reached during the Turmi Meeting shall also be disseminated. The same activities will be organized by AEPDA at Nyangatom on the Ethiopian side. These actions are as a follow-up to Turmi Meeting agreement, held in April 2008 aimed at de-escalating incidences of reported escalating violent conflicts between the Turkana of Kenya and the Nyangatom of Ethiopia.
